Professional Background

Dale Brubaker established Acorn Financial Consulting, Inc. in 1991 to provide accounting and database support for start-up and established leasing entities.

 

Before starting Acorn Financial Consulting, Mr. Brubaker was a Vice President of Equity Syndication for The LINC Group, Inc. a medical equipment leasing serving the entire United States. He provided portfolio management and investor reporting for multiple income fund securitizations and sat on the credit committee. His prior position was Controller at Telco Marketing Services, Inc., a publicly held equipment leasing company. He managed the accounting staff and oversaw financial and income tax reporting as well as a Telco Canada debt workout after default by a major lessee. 

 

Education

Mr. Brubaker earned a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Accounting from DePaul University, Chicago, Illinois.  He received his CPA Certificate in 1982 and is a Registered Tax Return Preparer with the IRS.

 

Independent Coursework includes Continuing Professional Education in accounting and for Registered Tax Return Preparers.
